An Agent of Change  is someone who shares their privilege, big or small, with those in their global community who are needlessly suffering. This privilege manifests itself diversely, and everyone possesses it in different ways, materially and intellectually. While individuals can share direly needed material resources such as funds, the intellectual resources which each person possesses has the potential to bring about even greater empowerment for those in dire need.

With this simple philosophy at our heart, Peace & Love International strives to provide a unique, sustainable, and effective model for people who refuse to accept the status quo contribute towards bringing about the real change they want to see in the world they live in. This is achieved by enabling individuals to act on their passions in ways which allow them to share their privilege with their neglected sisters and brothers in the global community. Regardless of age, location, or background, every person possesses countless abilities, ideas, and connection that can be redirected towards alleviating suffering and fostering growth. All this requires is viewing the world around us as an opportunity and means for giving back in a respectful way. For youth, one way this could manifest itself is by gathering the energy of their peers and organizing community events which raise awareness about the plight of less privileged children globally. University students may go even further and form collectives which combine their energy and efforts towards addressing pivotal needs of our empowerment initiatives internationally. Adults can also organize events and initiatives which raise funds and awareness, incorporating the community, colleagues, friends, and family. There is a multitude of ways you can be an Agent of Change: maybe you have a friend who work in a restaurant that can join the effort by sharing food for an initiative, a gift-certificate for a raffle, or maybe by hosting a Peace & Love community event? Perhaps you have a passion for the arts and bring together others like yourself to host an exhibit to benefit those in need, or maybe you dedicate the proceeds from one of your creations to sharing? Possibly you know someone connected to a company, able and eager to share their time, energy, skills, or resources, and you simply bring them on board by making them aware of the opportunity to join our collective effort, drawing in their valuable energy? It could be even simpler: maybe when you’re preparing your next meal, you decide to host a small gathering, inviting a few friends, and everyone shares a little for their meal in order to feed the real needs of those with less privilege elsewhere. As you can imagine, once you begin viewing the world around you through a lens that seeks to connect valuable privileges, talents, and connections with the dire needs of the neglected and abused, the possibilities become literally endless!
